ABOUT US

World Film Commission is a unit of Alzebra Peoples Foundation which is registered under Alzebra Peoples Foundation (APF)

WFC is a Non-Profit Public organization that acts as a Global regulatory body for the development of art, science and Business of Motion Picture Production and distribution across the globe. It is an international section 8 non-profit Public organization open to all. We believe in keeping transparency with our members and ensuring that our film community remains bound by passion and innovation. WFC is founded by APF. The sole purpose of founding WFC is to promote the research and development of film, television and Motion Pictures in general. We aim to study and innovate the path created by the greatest cinematic works across the globe, reflecting both the history and heritage of Moving Images and creating new breakthroughs in the Industry.

We present a year-round engagement for our members and associates, that includes professional training programs, workshops, seminars, publication of research papers, in-depth filmmaker talks, and high-profile events. As a non-profit educational and social welfare organization, WFC works towards developing what suits the needs of the current society and directing filmmakers towards a unified path. Besides providing academic training in film and television, we also take the initiative to utilize films as a weapon of the pedagogy of the oppressed as well as an alternative medium for people to communicate. Our Tour de Cinema initiative travels across several remote places of the country, on invitation from civil society groups, unions, and other democratic platforms, with films and social awareness videos for the underprivileged.

We take the initiative to educate children and young adults through film, for which we travel across schools, neighborhoods, and communities, screening films that invite our young friends to imagine, ponder, question and seek answers to things around them. We are also exploring the possibilities of building a functional web-based alternative media highlighting and amplifying voices of the working-class people run by volunteers. Our motto is to develop a film culture among the masses and generate ideas of making the perfect award-worthy film in the Industry.
